She gazed up into the pastel sky, which had taken her breath away. Nicole took one more breath and walked up beside him. "Hey Nicole! Come, look!" Dante motioned beside him. Placing her hands on her knees, as she tried to catch her breath, Dante turned towards her with a bright smile.

On her way up the stairs, she had almost tripped a couple of times on the cracked cobble stairs, cursing to herself for her clumsiness. In a hurry, the female dashed towards the cliff. It wasn't long until she saw a blue haired figure in the distance behind the Irene statue on the cliff. I'm sure he's just hanging around somewhere.' The red haired girl shook the bad thoughts away, and began her search again. 'What if something attacked him?' She pondered, grey eyes beaming with curiosity. He had been missing almost the whole day, and she was worried. "Pfft, yeah your the handsomest guard!" Nicole gave him a laugh, punching his arm playfully.
She told me to wait for her, and I always will," Dante replied, with a smirk, "Of course, I'll always be her most handsome, loyalist and strongest guard!"
She was the first ever lord I had served, and she is definitely the kindest. He took a deep breath, wiped the tears and looked at her with a smile. She turned to Dante, only to see tears fill his navy blue eyes. "What if Aphmau and the rest don't come back? What will you do then?" Nicole blurted out to her blue haired friend. Sparring, joking, playing, eating - Everything they did was together. Alone, and still waiting for her return.Įver since the day Nicole had come back, she spent most of her time with Dante. It had been years now, and yet he was here. When she saw Dante patrolling the area Aphmau had told him to before she went missing, she was honestly shocked. It had made her wonder if her old Lord and friend, Aphmau and the rest had come back, or if everyone had left the village for good. It had surprised her how deserted the village looked, how trees and bones started to grow everywhere around the old village she had called home.
I drew and coloured this in class today! It's really chibified, but then again I wanted to try and colour a sunset and drew this! I've never coloured a sunset before, and my pencil crayons aren't the best at blending but I still really do like the colour in this!Īround a month ago, Nicole arrived back in Phoenix Drop for a visit.
